Following the panel, join us for a reception featuring a talented jazz band. Following the reception, join us for a performance by down-tempo electronic act, Natalie Walker. Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance from this website or at the door.

Painted Bride Quarterly focused on Temptation in all its forms in its issue #77 (www.pbq.drexel.edu). In order to celebrate that issue, we thought, what better venue than a church? We invited this eclectic group to come talk with us, and are inviting you to join the conversation.

Robert Bennett, executive chef of Classic Cake, chocolatier, former pastry chef of Le Bec Fin, and former owner of Miel Patisserie, is also one of the founding chefs of Chef Aid, which has raised millions of dollars in its 13 years of existence.

Timothy Emmett-Rardin, Tim Emmett-Rardin is a campus minister in his third year as director of Asbury Protestant Ministry at Drexel University (www.asburycrossroads.org). He also serves as chair of Drexel's Interfaith Council.

A burlesque performer for 8 years, she has performed for Jennifer Tilley, Chris North, Cirque du Soliel and multiple festivals around the country. In her off time she is studying dance, creating costumes and working construction.

With Dr. Bill Cosby, Shawn spoke to The Congress Black Caucus on Violence in America. He co- directed and produced the documentary, "Close to Death." Natalie Walker’s newest album is described as “funky and elegant at the same time” (All New Music Guide) while Philadelphia magazine calls it “a stirring, sexy record that’s filler free.” "Be it Natalie Walker's drowsy vocals or the elegant song constructions, this album drifts by like whispers and drugs you with a hypnotic undercurrent." (Billboard). This down-tempo electronica band has a haunting sonic landscape that is at once organic and entrancing.
